Periodically, this blog hosts fun giveaways for the readers. These events may be self-sponsored by the blog owner or may be sponsored by another individual, business or corporation. This may or may not be plainly stated in the actual giveaway. If you need further clarification, please ask.
These guidelines are effective as of 1/1/14
All giveaways, unless otherwise stated, will follow these guidelines
- No purchase necessary to win, a purchase will not increase you chances of winning.
- All federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations apply
- Void where prohibited
- All giveaways are open to United States and the District of Columbia only unless otherwise specified
- You must be Eighteen (18) years of age or older to enter
- Dates of entry for the giveaway will be posted on each individual giveaway. Each giveaway will start and end on dates listed on each specific contest
- Prize information will be posted on each individual giveaway, with description of the prize and value of the prize in U.S. currency.
- Winners shall be chosen via Rafflecopter, PromoSimple or some other program at blog owner’s choice.
- Winner’s will be chosen at random and will be notified via email (using the email that they entered the giveaway with) that they have won and what steps they need to take in order to redeem their prize. Please ensure that you use correct email address that you check regularly so that you can claim your prize.
- Winner’s will have 48 hours to respond to the notification email. If I do not hear from you within 48 hours, you forfeit the prize and a new winner will be chosen at random. This is final and cannot be retracted.
- Winners information will be forwarded to the sponsor. If it is an electronic prize, it will be distributed to you via your given email by the sponsor. If the prize is to be shipped, they will need your address and possibly your phone number for shipping purposes only.
- Valid entrants and entries only have the right to win, and if entry method is not fulfilled, you forfeit your right to win. Be sure to pay attention to the rules that are stated on each giveaway, as they may vary giveaway to giveaway.
- All giveaway entrants agree to be honest and not cheat the systems; any suspect of fraud is decided upon by blog/site owner and/or the sponsor, and entrants may be disqualified at our discretion.
- I am not responsible for fulfillment, delivery, shipment, misplaced, lost or stolen prizes. This is the responsibility of the sponsor.
- If giveaway is sponsored by an outside entity, the winner will abide by their prize fulfillment periods, which may be as long as 180 days, depending on the company. Please know that I choose the companies I work with very carefully and only choose companies that I think are reputable and honest. That being said, it is an online world, and anything can happen. I cannot be held liable or responsible, should a vendor choose not to fulfill a promised prize. I will do whatever I can to try to get a company to make good on a promise, but there are no guarantees. Thankfully this has not ever happened and hopefully never will happen.
- All entries are optional, unless there is a mandatory entry to win. This will be stated on the giveaway if it applies.
- If your name and email address is gathered for contest entry, that email address will be the one used to notify winners. Additionally, blog owner(s) and sponsor(s) may add that email address to a database, but agree to not sell it to outside entities.
- By accepting a win through one of my giveaways, you are also accepting the fact that I will publish that you are the winner and that only this information will be used on my blog and any other social media websites I see fit. I will never use your last name or any other delicate, personal information. I/E The winner of X giveaway is Jenny G.! Congratulations.
- Giveaways are in no way endorsed, sponsored, or administered by Facebook, twitter, Pintrest, Google+, Instagram or any other form of social media.
- Any and all giveaways may be promoted on Facebook, Twitter, email or other social network sites. This is a means of promotion only, and any promotion on those sites is not to be interpreted as Facebook, Twitter or any other form of social media partaking in, or being in any way responsible for that particular contest.
- My giveaways are hosted with the intent of adding a bit of fun to this site and in no way are meant to be a form of gambling or sweepstakes
- Any prizes that may result in tax liability for the winner(s) are the winner(s) responsibility
- Winner(s) assumes all responsibility if further clarification is needed, prior to either entering a giveaway on this site or claiming a prize at the conclusion of a contest.
- These terms are subject to change at any time.
